		<description>I think we agree.  How we define a melting pot (or "family resemblance") is up for grabs.  The point is that the end user UI experience should be as similar as possible between the apps.  

Is this possible yet?  Well yes it is.  I think we probably agree the technology is here to support what you want to build (even though you stated the opposite) but there are no best (or even common) practices defined telling us how to do it.  I'm also not sure we know what the downstream problems will be yet as nobody has gotten that far.  Huge programming efforts in the implementation of all this SOA "stuff" might lead us to maintenance nightmares later on as ERP customs did in the 90's.</description>
